LIMESTONE — Philip D. Green, 41, was arrested Sunday at his residence on Route 89 in Limestone and charged with felony trafficking in scheduled drugs.
Seized in a search were more than 2 pounds of marijuana, a small amount of cocaine and assorted drug trafficking paraphernalia, according to Darrell O. Crandall Jr., Maine Drug Enforcement Agency’s field office supervisor.
Green was released on $1,000 cash bail. He is scheduled to appear Thursday, March 10, in District Court in Caribou.
If convicted, Green faces a maximum of five years in prison or a $20,000 fine, said Crandall.
Police said more arrests may follow in the ongoing investigation by the drug agency assisted by the Limestone Police Department, the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Department and the Maine State Police.
