BAR HARBOR — Marine Atlantic of Saint John, New Brunswick, has been forced to cancel a round trip by the Bluenose, the ferry between Maine and Nova Scotia, this week.

Trips were canceled so that dock repairs could be carried out at Bar Harbor.

The Canadian company canceled crossings from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, on Thursday. The usual run from Bar Harbor to Yarmouth also will be canceled on Friday, Dec. 1.

Service will resume on Sunday, Dec. 3, with an afternoon departure from Yarmouth.
