ROCKLAND – The Mid-Coast chapter of Habitat for Humanity will celebrate the completion of two houses with a dedication ceremony, open to the public, at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 15.
The first dedication will take place at the home built for Vui Nguyen and Tuyet Le and their two children. It will be followed by the dedication of the home built for Carol Pettee and her two children. Both houses are in the Oliver Woods development.
Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that builds affordable houses for families that could not otherwise own a house. Each family must help to build its house.
Habitat for Humanity will begin construction on a new house in Rockland in September.
