Bangor, Me. Important changes are to be made on the property recently purchased by Rev. Father M.C. O’Brien. The lot lays at the corner of Main and Cedar streets near St. Mary’s church, and has on it two stores and a house. The buildings are to be removed, and a large brick school building erected, in which will be established a graded school, embracing primary and college preparatory classes and intermediate grades. The best male instructors to be found will be engaged.

Bangor, Me. T.F. Cassidy & Co. shipsmiths, sent yesterday an anchor weighing 1,000 pounds and 45 fathoms of chain to Bucksport for the schooner Ella Maria now at that place.
