ORONO — The Orono Creative Playground will hold an organizational day Saturday, March 24.

Robert Leathers, the architect and playground designer, will be in town to inspect the playground site and to meet with committee chairmen.

Leathers will review the playground site on the grounds of Asa C. Adams Elementary School from 9 to 10:45 a.m. After the review, he will meet with individual committee chairmen.

Construction of the playground, “One to Grow On,” is scheduled for June 13. Of the $50,000 needed, $31,000 has been raised. For more information call 866-2083.
