Child Care Open House set for April 4 at YWCA

The Bangor-Brewer YWCA will hold a Child Care Open House from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, for parents who are interested in the quailty of child-care programs offered by the YWCA.

These include Lots for Tots, Discovery House, pre-kindergarten, and Before and After School, four programs which serve children 2 1/2 to 12 years old. Registration for the fall 1990 enrollment will begin Monday, April 2.

During the open house, experienced members of the teaching staff will explain the child-centered learning activities and the utilization of creating program materials. The inclusion of gym and swim activities are an important part of the YWCA program.

Parents attending the open house will use the Union Street entrance. Those interested in Discovery House can enter the house adjacent to the YWCA at 27 Second St. Child care will be provided during the open house. For information call 941-2808.
