WASHINGTON — Rep. Priscilla Attean has been named a member of the State Tribal Relations Task Force of the National Conference of State Legislatures. Attean is from Indian Island and represents the Penobscot Nation.

She said serving on the task force will give her an opportunity to discuss state and tribal issues with state legislators from throughout the country. She said that through NCSL “we will be able to share innovative ideas on how to approach the issues facing our nation and the people we represent.”
