CONCORD, N.H. — A winning ticket for the Tri-State Megabucks jackpot for New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont was bought in a small country store in one of the remotest parts of northern New England.
The ticket for Saturday night’s drawing was purchased at the Alva Jandreau general store in St. Francis, Maine, a tiny town on the New Brunswick border.
The jackpot is $1.2 million, and the winner will receive $60,000 a year for 20 years.
Lower-tier prizes totaled almost $168,719.
