CALAIS — Bill Wood, children’s writer and performer, will present “To Be A Kid, Again,” at 6 p.m. Monday, May 14, at the Calais High School. The program, which is open to all age groups, the participants to travel with Wood into the childhood kingdom.

CALAIS — Bill Wood, children’s writer and performer, will present “To Be A Kid, Again,” at 6 p.m. Monday, May 14, at the Calais High School. The program, which is open to all age groups, the participants to travel with Wood into the childhood kingdom.

During the journey participants will rediscover their own childhoods and will find out what it is like being a child in today’s society. Wood uses humor, a few games and a lot of audience participation to remind educators and parents of the importance of the magical place of childhood.

The program is sponsored by the Concerned Committee for Parenting and the Consumer and Home Economics Grant from the Department of Vocational Education. Baby-sitting will be provided at no cost.
