Al-Anon, an established resource for the families and friends of alcoholics, provides information and help for families whether or not the alcoholic seeks help or recognizes the existence of a drinking problem.
There are no dues or fees. Al-Anon is not allied with any other organization. Its members’ primary purpose is to recover from the impact of alcoholism on their own lives.
If you feel your personal life has been adversely affected by close contact with a problem drinker, you may be interested in joining in the formation of a local group of Al-Anon.
