EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick — Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney will visit Edmundston this week while on a two-day visit to New Brunswick.

Mulroney is to be in Shippagan,. New Brunswick, early Wednesday, May 2, and will arrive in Edmundston during the evening.

On Thursday he will meet with the local press at 8:30 a.m. American time. After the press briefing, Mulroney will visit Fraser Inc.’s tree nursery at Second Falls, about 10 miles from Edmundston.

At noon, he is scheduled to have lunch and address the chambers of commerce of Edmundston, Grand Falls and St. Francois, New Brunswick. The noon session will be held at Edmundston’s Centre des Congress. After lunch, he will return to Ottawa.
