A no smoking law has been imposed on one-room restaurants throughout Maine. Quite a number of restaurants are being hurt by the Department of Human Services. The DHS hurts more people than it helps.
If this law goes through, then the DHS should, by a strong law, pay all these one-room restaurant owners at least $80,000 a year. After all, they have a living and families to suppport.
So once and for all, why doesn’t the DHS pack its suitcase and leave quietly. Jim Brown Bangor
