MACHIAS — The Machias Airport Committee will continue its efforts to establish a Machias Valley Regional Airport Authority at its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, May 7, at the Machias Valley Airport terminal building.
Representatives are still needed from several towns within the 25-mile geographic area encompassed by the airport regionalization plan. Interest is being sought from the local business community.
Members wishing to serve on the committee are not required to be pilots.
