ISLESBORO — The Islesboro Board of Selectmen presided over a public hearing on annual license renewal applications, all of which were approved.

Liquor licenses were granted to Blue Heron/Mahan, Dark Harbor House/Skinner, Tarratine Club of Dark Harbor-Golf/Yacht; special amusement renewal to the Tarratine Club; victualer licenses to Tarratine Club-Golf/Yacht, Dark Harbor House Inn, U & I Take Out; innkeeper’s license renewal to Dark Harbor House, Roseville.

In other matters, a personnel manual is being revised. The board reviewed it and set a work session on it.

Excess funds from the Kinnicutt Center will be transferred to the general fund, the board said.

The board went over the list of informal committees to decide which were still effective and needed.

It was decided that the recreation, museum, advisory to the Planning Board, building, library, and harbor committees were needed.

The airport advisory, road, and public access committees are no longer needed.

Selectman Sally Clason will report on the liaison committee to the DOT committee.
