I would like to publicly thank Mr. Herbert Taggart and the Bangor Daily News, who are fortunate enough to have him as their employee. Mr. Taggart delivers the NEWS in the town of Kenduskeag and to Mrs. Pearl Stetson in particular.

While making his very early morning deliveries, Mr. Taggart noticed that Mrs. Stetson’s newspapers were not being picked up (she was at camp), so on the thrid day, he contacted the Penobscot Sheriff’s Department.

My thanks to the Sheriff’s Department and to Mr. Taggart. Kenduskeag residents are very fortunate to have such a caring individual looking out for us.
