WORCESTER, Mass. – Rachel Bishop scattered four hits to lead Worcester State College to a 3-2 women’s softball victory over the Bates College Bobcats here Wednesday.
Bishop struck out four and walked six. She was backed by Gail Wallace who hit a run-scoring single in the seventh to give Worcester the winning edge.
For 10-7 Bates of Lewiston, Lynn Khoury had an RBI double. Michele Feroah, who gave up three hits while walking six, was the losing pitcher.
