Penobscot County Democrats will hold an evening with the candidates at the Roosevelt dinner on Saturday, May 12. Events will start with a cocktail party from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the home of Leiba and Marshall Frankel.

A reception for candidates will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Airport Hilton; and a dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. at the Airport Hilton.

Attending will be U.S. Sen. George J. Michell; Maine Rep. Joseph E. Brennan, gubernatorial candidate; state Rep. Neil Rolde, U.S. Senate candidate; and State Rep. Patrick K. McGowan, 2nd District Congressional candidate.

Master of ceremonies will be Charles P. Pray, president of the Maine Senate.
