BRUNSWICK — The Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance will sponsor a workshop titled “Introduction to Screenwriting” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at the Maine Writers Center, 19 Mason St. Taught by screenwriter and novelist Mike Kimball, author of “Firewater Pond,” this workshop is a nuts-and-bolts introduction to the format and devices of screenplays.
The cost for the workshop is $25 for members of MWPA, $30 for others. Preregistration is necessary. Participants should send a $20 deposit to MWPA, 19 Mason St., Brunswick 04011.
