A Bangor man was charged with gross sexual assault, a Class A crime, after he allegedly sexually assaulted a female acquaintance.
Police reported that Lawrence Noyes, 48, of Odlin Road was arrested Monday night. He also was charged with domestic assault. He was taken to Penobscot County Jail and was released on $10,000 bail with one surety for the gross sexual assault charge, and $5,000 bail with one surety on the assault charge.
Bangor police reported that a sergeant in the United States Air Force was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and furnishing liquor to a minor.
It was reported that Donnie Dunn, 29, of Building 417, Room 206, Air National Guard Base, Bangor, was summoned by police early Saturday morning. Dunn allegedly was providing liquor to his 15-year-old girlfriend from Winterport. Police reportedly found Dunn, his girlfriend, and another 15-year-old girl at his residence at 1 a.m. Saturday.
An employee of the Penobscot Foundation for Development Services reported that someone broke into the building on Illinois Avenue sometime between Saturday and Tuesday. The person entered the building through a basement window and went through the building breaking lights and windows. A thermostat was broken which caused the heat to remain on. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
Michael Dakin, 19, 160 Warren St., Bangor, was arrested in Bangor and charged with operating a motor vehicle while his license was under suspension. He was taken to Penobscot County Jail and was scheduled to appear in 3rd District Court on June 11.
Jesu Langway, 18, Box 16, East Holden, was arrested in Bangor and charged with theft by unauthorized taking after he allegedly stole a power booster from K mart in Bangor. He also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to Penobscot County Jail and was scheduled to appear in 3rd District Court on June 5.
Leroy Patterson, 20, 64 Second St., Bangor, was summoned by Bangor police Tuesday and charged with criminal mischief after a fight on Main Street that left a window broken at the Freese’s building.
