The winners of the recent Chocolate Heaven competition, sponsored by Fleet Bank, have been announced by the event’s organizer, Maine Media of Auburn. In the People’s Choice category, the chocolate cake of Creative Cadence won best tasting, best presentation and best overall.

The winners of the recent Chocolate Heaven competition, sponsored by Fleet Bank, have been announced by the event’s organizer, Maine Media of Auburn.
In the People’s Choice category, the chocolate cake of Creative Cadence won best tasting, best presentation and best overall.
Judges’ awards were: best tasting, Jasmine’s raspberry linzer torte; best presentation, the Checkmate Restaurant’s chocolate pizza; and best overall, the chocolate cake of Creative Cadence.
Frank’s Bake Shop also was a popular choice among the 30-plus votes cast. The event was held at Orchard Hills. Combined with a donation by Fleet Bank, the competition raised $140 for the YWCA.
