Troopers assigned to Maine State Police Troop F at Houlton are investigating the following incidents that occurred recently in Aroostook County:
Trooper Shawn Whalen is investigating the theft of a red, 12-inch Homlite XL-2 chain saw from the back of a pickup truck on West Cottage Road in Portage. The owner valued it at $150.
Trooper Garfield Holmes is investigating the theft of seven gazebo roof trusses from a business on Smyrna Road in Oakfield. The trusses were valued at $100.
Trooper John Cote is investigating a burglary that occurred in Bancroft. Three bundles of asphalt shingles valued at $100 and a 24-foot aluminum extension ladder valued at $150 were stolen.
Trooper John York is investigating the theft of a snowmobile tachometer and speedometer valued at $100 each in Mars Hill.
Trooper Ralph Graves is investigating a criminal mischief incident on the Backstrom Road in Woodland in which someone cut the liner of an above-ground swimming pool, causing damage estimated at $1,000.
