The following cases were processed by Judge David Griffiths in 2nd District Court in Presque Isle, June 1-6.

Stephne M. Tilley, 32, Caribou, negotiating worthless instrument, three counts, 60-day jail sentences on each count, to be served concurrently.

Walter C. Carlisle, 27, Centreville, New Brunswick, speeding, $80; operating motor vehicle without driver’s license, $150.

Derek R. Smith, 34, Caribou, speeding, $50; operating unregistered motor vehicle, $50.

David A. Duffy, 35, Fort Fairfield, speeding, $100.

Patrick Pelkey, 46, violation of protection from abuse, 10-day jail sentence, suspended, six months probation.

Herbert M. Jordan, 54, Presque Isle, assault, 60-day jail sentence, suspended, mental health counseling to satisfaction of probation officer and no contact with victim.

Ed Pelletier & Sons, Madawaska, operating vehicle exceeding registered gross weight, $100.

Ed Page, 19, Presque Isle, illegal possession of drug paraphernalia, $100.

Operating a motor vehicle after driver’s license suspension were: Michael A. Greenlaw, 27, Fort Fairfield, 10-day jail sentence; Debra J. Estey, 32, Mars Hill, two counts, two-day jail sentences on each count; Matthew Lavway, 21, Presque Isle, $100.

Richard Churchill, 20, Presque Isle, driving to endanger, $200, 60-day driver’s license supension.

David M. Cook, Jr., 18, Ashland, excessive acceleration, $100, 30-day driver’s license suspension.

Tim E. Myshrall, 32, Presque Isle, furnishing liquor to minor, 12-day jail sentence.

CARIBOU

The following people were sentenced the week of June 4, in Aroostook County Superior Court in Caribou by Justice Paul T. Pierson:

Kenneth A. Caparotta, 19, Caribou, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, $40, 10 days in jail.

Ronald J. Chapman, 41, Limestone, robbery, 10 months with state Department of Corrections; theft (two counts), 10 months with state Department of Corrections each count, sentences to be served concurrently.

Freeman Deabay, 19, Ashland, burglary (three counts), 18 months with state Department of Corrections, all but 60 days suspended, one year probation; theft (three counts), 15 days in jail to be served concurrently with sentence for burglary.

Barry Shaw, 33, Presque Isle, criminal threatening with dangerous weapon, two years with state Department of Corrections, all but 30 days suspended, two years probation.

Joseph W. Soucier, 55, Caribou, burglary, two years with state Department of Corrections; theft, two years with state Department of Corrections.
