To the man in the motorized wheelchair on Kenduskeag Avenue:

About a week ago, on a pretty dark night, I almost didn’t see you as you traveled down the middle of the road; the results could have been tragic, and I am therefore writing to let you know how difficult you were to see. There were no reflectors or lights on your chair, and you were dressed in dark clothing.

You have every right to be on the road, but you owe it to yourself and other drivers to be visible. There are places around town, like Motion Rehabilitation in Brewer, which would be happy to do some work for you. Please consider it. Nancy Forster Nordhausen Bangor
