Corey Baker, Sean Bernier, Laura Dyer, Joanie Dubois, Maryanne Davis, Barbie Fuller, Rachel Grotten, Mark Hutchins, Cheryl Hoxie, Melvin Ivey, Robert Jensen, Dana Kennedy, Ben Kindell, Dan Kelly, Tom Koehling, Eric Leete, Melissa Legassie, Dave Lessard, Mark Lombardi, Wendy Murray, Jason McLellen, Jennifer Montanese, Rebecca Longstreet, Wayne Michaud, Lawton Mann, Bill Pooler, John Ogden, Chelsea Pomeroy, Jeff McKissick, Jeff Smart, John Schools, Billy Jo Powell, Chris Thomas, Dennis Doyon, Amy Winship, Scott White, Tammy Wasson, Adam White, LaRene Wyss, Jason Vallieres, Stacy Young.

They were honored in a graduation ceremony held June 29 at the Union Street School. More than 5 percent of all GEDs received in Maine last year were earned by Penobscot Job Corps students, and the students continued to receive high scores as well.

At the same assembly, the winners of the New England Regional Job Corps Essay Contest winners were announced. Penobscot students won first, second and fifth places. Joan Dubois received a plaque and $150 as the regional winner. Tammy Wasson received a plaque and $100 as the regional runner-up. Joey Welch received a plaque as a regional honorable mention award winner.
