I would like Darwin Adams (Readers Write, July 4) to know that work is well along on raising funds for a national memorial to Korean War veterans in Washington. Of approximately $8.2 million required, we have now raised $5.2 million.
If Adams would like more information, he can write to the Korean War Veterans Association, P.O. Box 12205, Baltimore, Md. 21281, attention Membership Chairman.
They will send him a membership application and information on how to contribute to the memorial. Dick Berry East Orland
