An invitational art exhibition featuring the work of 17 Maine artists will open July 16 in Central Maine Power Company’s General Office lobby on Edison Drive in Augusta.
The show, “Maine’s Natural Heritage,” was organized to support Maine artists and the environment, according to CMP President and Chief Executive Officer Joe C. Collier, Jr.
“These paintings evoke images of the state we love and remind us of the need and duty to preserve the blessings of its mountains, forests, streams, fields and coast,” said Collier.
“We are committed to improving Maine’s environment, and we are pleased to include support for Maine artists in that effort,” he said.
