Weatherbee family holds reunion

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The descendants of Earl and Vivian Weatherbee held a family reunion July 4 at the Sebec Lake Camp of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Weatherbee. Hosts were Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Doore and Mike and Laura Doore of Gorham.

The 50th wedding anniversary of Gail Weatherbee Lincoln and Philip Lincoln of Owls Head was celebrated. A “Book of Memories,” compiled by their daughter, Andrea Lincoln Sligar, and an anniversary cake were presented to the Lincolns by their sons, Christopher and Scott Lincoln, and daughter, Andrea Sligar.

Family members who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Philip Weatherbee, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Weatherbee, Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weatherbee, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Harvey, Emily Harvey, Adam Harvey, and Alison Weatherbee of Dover-Foxcroft; Dr. and Mrs. Lee Weatherbee, Brent and Julie of Ann Arbor, Mich.; T/Sgt. and Mrs. Jeffrey Weatherbee and Jon Sebastian of Butzbach, West Germany; Mr. and Mrs. David Weatherbee and Beth of Millinocket; Mr. and Mrs. Philip Lincoln of Owls Head; Christopher Lincoln of Tulsa, Okla.; Scott Lincoln of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Rex Sligar, Kristen, Stephen and Kathryn of Normal, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Gooch of Danbury, Ct., and the hosts.
