CF clinic receives new accreditation

Eastern Maine Medical Center’s Cystic Fibrosis Clinic has received renewed accreditation from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Accreditation is based on inspection of the clinic program and reflects the high quality of management services provided by EMMC’s CIF staff, according to a statement by EMMC officials.

Eastern Maine Medical Center’s Cystic Fibrosis Clinic has received renewed accreditation from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Accreditation is based on inspection of the clinic program and reflects the high quality of management services provided by EMMC’s CIF staff, according to a statement by EMMC officials.

The clinic received a grant of $8,050 from the Cystic Fibrosis Center to support patient services and clinic staff participation in educational programs.

The center is directed by Dr. Erlinda Polvorosa and is part of the hospital’s genetics program.
