PRESQUE ISLE — Andre L. Pelletier has been selected to coordinate community development projects for the city of Presque Isle. The announcement of his selection was made by John Edgecomb, director of Planning and Development for Presque Isle.

Pelletier served as audit assistant for the New York Legislative Commission on Expenditure Review from December 1989 to June 1990 after working as a personnel intern with the Maine State Housing Authority in 1989.

From September 1988 to May 1989, Pelletier was a graduate research assistant with Rockefeller College’s Academic Program Development Office in New York. He was assistant director of admissions at the University of Maine from July 1984 to August 1988.

Pelletier graduated from the Nelson A. Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, State University of New York at Albany, in May 1990. He received a master’s degree in public administration in management and finance. Pelletier graduated from the University of Maine in 1984, receiving a bachelor’s degree in history and political science.

He is a native of Fort Kent and will reside in Presque Isle.
