EAST CORINTH — The East Corinth Academy Alumni Association will hold its annual reunion beginning at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at Central High School.

A guest speaker at 5:15 p.m. will be followed by a 6 p.m. supper. The alumni meeting will begin at 7 p.m.

The association will honor five classes this year, the 75-year class, the 60-year class, the 50-year class, the 40-year class, and the 25-year class.

Scholarships awarded by the ECA Alumni Association and former alumni to graduating seniors at the June 17 graduation were as follows: the East Corinth Academy Board of Trustees Scholarships of $4,125; the Thelma Bagley Foster Scholarship Fund of $2,000; the Bertha Wasburn Tiplady Scholarship of $1,500; the Geneva May Smith Mathematics Award given by Jessie E. Smith of $1,000; the ECA Alumni Scholarships of $400; the Alice Freeman Whitney Memorial Scholarship of $150; the George W. Allen Family Memorial Scholarship of $100; and the Gloria McPherson Westhrin Scholarship of $75.
