The Great Grand Getaway fund-raiser to benefit The Grand theater in Ellsworth has been extended to July 27, since there are still tickets available for purchase.

Winners of the 11 prizes will be announced during intermission of the premiere concert of Mamma Tongue and Pura Fe July 27 at the Grand. Winners need not be present to win.

Prizes include: a 21-speed Fuji mountain bike from Gulliver’s Bicycle Shop in Ellsworth; a “Keowee” single kayak and gift certificate from Lifesports in Ellsworth; two round-trip tickets to Martha’s Vineyard on Continental Express; a half-day tour for two from Coastal Kayaking Tours, Inc. in Bar Harbor; “Acadia Special” glider rider for two from Island Soaring Glider Rides in Trenton; Whale Watching, Deep Sea Fishing and Sunset Cruises for two from the Frenchman Bay Co. in Bar Harbor; a round-trip cruise and meals for two to Yarmouth on the Bluenose Ferry; and dinner for two at the Pilgrim’s Inn in Deer Isle.
