SANFORD — A 71-year-old Sanford man was killed when he was struck by a car while crossing Route 109, police said.

Lineus Murphy was hit Saturday by a car driven by Bobby Jace, 29, of Rockport, Mass., according to Sanford police Officer Michael Roy. No charges were filed.
