Rain wiped out a good portion of the scheduled Little League All-Star playoff games Wednesday. Only one tournament, the Little League Softball State Tournament in Wells, was unaffected by the weather.
All of the scheduled games in the Junior League State Baseball Tournament in Biddeford were postponed to Thursday, and the District 3 Little League All-Star playoff game between Machias and Border of Monticello was also postponed a day.
In the Junior League tournament at Biddeford, Old Town will play Biddeford at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Auburn will take on Westbrook also at 5:30 p.m.
In the District 3 Little League playoffs, Machias will play Border at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Bangor West home baseball field on Fourteenth Street in Bangor.
