AUGUSTA — Consumers for Affordable Health Care will conduct two press conferences at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Eastern Area Agency on Aging, Twin City Plaza, Brewer, and at the Portland Public Library, Monument Square, Portland.
The group, which is a coalition of more than 40 health, senior citizens, citizen action and labor organizations, will release a study conducted with Citizen Action of Washington, “Spending More and Getting Less — A Comparison of the Cost and Quality of Health Care in Maine, the United States and the World.”
