HOULTON — A fire of undetermined cause Friday night destroyed an older model mobile home located behind the Military Street Texaco filling station in Houlton.
The fire was reported at 9:16 p.m. Seventeen firefighters, two pumpers and the Houlton Ambulance responded.
The fire was brought under control in a matter of minutes. Firefighters were at the scene less than 40 minutes.
The trailer belonged to Edger Gagnon, 43, of Houlton. Gagnon was not at home when the fire broke out.
Firefighters were initially informed that Gagnon was in the trailer. Those reports proved unfounded. No injuries were reported.
