Brewer seeking old bricks

The Brewer Historical Society soon will try to locate bricks made in the city’s famed brickyards. Brian Higgins, a society member, has offered to build a brick wall for the society if enough bricks can be found that were made in the city.

Society officers asked that anyone having old Brewer bricks donate them to the group. For information or to donate bricks, call Susan Xirinachs at 989-5100 or Brian Higgins at 989-7468.
