DOVER-FOXCROFT — Quilt Festival `90 will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at SeDoMoCha Junior High School on Harrison Avenue, Dover-Foxcroft.

Admission will be by free-will donation.

Regular features at the festival will include a wide variety of quilts, both new and antique, pillows, and wall hangings. Also, there will be the ever-popular quilt block display where approximately 130-150 pieced or appliqued blocks will be hung, and a children’s corner featuring the works of young people under the age of 15. Any child with a piece of patchwork which he or she has made is welcome to bring it for display.

A new feature this year will be the Charm Exchange, which is scheduled from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18. During this time any visitor to the show may come with any number of 6-inch squares of calico which may be traded with other quilters. This hour will offer an opportunity for quilters to meet one another, to trade fabrics, and to exchange thoughts and ideas. It is hoped that this feature will become one of the favorite sections of Quilt Festival.
