BLUE HILL — Jennifer Greene has been named the new director of the Bay School. Greene will replace Phil Cotty, who is leaving to accept a teaching position in Sedgwick.

Michael Aker, chairman of the school’s board of trustees, said, “While we advertised nationwide, the school found its ideal leader right here in Blue Hill. Jennifer is a truly inspiring educator with great personal warmth and years of experience in Walforf schools.”

“Greene is perfect for the school at this point,” said Crotty. “We have worked hard to strengthen the faculty and curriculum, to reach out to the community and to lay a solid financial foundation. Jennifer’s arrival represents a coming of age for the Bay School.”
