I cannot believe President Bush can compare being held in Washington (to being a a hostage), and to the trouble in Iraq. What is his feeling about the hundreds of Americans being held hostage, or the five years Terry Anderson has been a hostage? No one knows what they have suffered.
Bush lives a life of luxury no matter where he is. He has the compassion of Ronald and Nancy Reagan. If you’re not rich, you’re not important.
We have gone through lies, crooks, and the high cost of living for the past 10 years. It’s a shame what the small taxpayer pays for white-collar crime.
We are supposed to save on fuel yet pay thousands a day for Bush to have his vacation in Maine. I wonder how he would feel if one of his loved ones was really held hostage? I can’t understand why they fight so hard to get into the White House, then spend half their time somewhere else. I don’t think they should travel at our expense to help their party get elected. My heart goes out to those families who are hostage or loved ones here who go though a nightmare each day. Mrs. Elden Corey Washburn
