A Bangor police sergeant suffered a broken finger after a scuffle with a man who refused to leave Broad Street Park Tuesday night. Robert West, 19, of 76 Court St., was charged with criminal trespass, according to Sgt. Robert Welch. Welch said he broke his finger while attempting to arrest West. West was taken to Penobscot County Jail and was scheduled to appear in 3rd District Court on Sept. 24.

Emanual Gomez, 24, Bangor, was arrested in Brewer and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor and operating a motor vehicle without a license. He was taken to Penobscot County Jail and was scheduled to appear in 3rd District Court on Sept. 10.

Robert Parlee, 60, 11 Nottingham Way, was arrested in Brewer and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor. He was taken to Penobscot County Jail and was scheduled to appear in 3rd District Court on Sept. 10.

Three leather sweaters were reported stolen from Damn Yankee gift shop on Wilson Street in Brewer. The sweaters were valued at $300.

Mario Rodriquez, 42, Bangor, was arrested in Bangor on two warrants charging failure to appear in District Court for a charge of criminal trespass. He was taken to Penobscot County Jail.

Brewer police reported that someone stole a video camera, a wide-angle lens, a color monitor and sony video tapes from the Brewer Armory recently. The equipment was owned by the production company that is filming Stephen King’s movie “Graveyard Shift.” The equipment was valued at $3,211.
