DALE L. JELLISON has joined Civil Engineering Services Inc. of Brewer as a project manager. His responsibilities include municipal landfill closings, the company’s soils laboratory, and road design projects. Jellison earned a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Maine.

RONALD C. HOWES has joined Civil Engineering Services Inc. of Brewer as a project manager. He will manage environmental assessments and water quality monitoring. He has two degrees in geology: a bachelor’s from the University of Maine and a master’s from Utah State.

TERRY BURCHILL of Bean & Conquest in Bangor has earned the position of chapter president for Chevrolet’s “Only the Best” Club. The honor is based on customer satisfaction survey results, council meeting participation, technician training and professional skills development.

ED ELWELL has joined RadioTelephone of Maine as a representative for sales and marketing. Elwell will represent the mobile-communication company’s line of paging services for customers in Waldo County. Elwell has been active in the Belfast business community for several years.

The Jenny Craig Weight Loss Center in Bangor has announced that STEVE FOSTER has joined the company as assistant manager. Foster recently completed a training program to prepare for his new position. Foster, who is originally from Sterling, Mass., now resides in East Corinth.

SYLVIA TORREY has been named program director at the Jenny Craig Weight Loss Center in Bangor. Torrey, who recently completed a weight-loss training program in Philadelphia, is a resident of Hampden. She has lived and worked in the Greater Bangor area for several years.
