Youth TDC awards to be presented Friday

Young people participating in the Summer Youth Employment and Training Program in Penobscot, Piscataquis and Hancock Counties will receive awards on Friday, Aug. 17.

The program develops activities for youth aged 14 to 21 with structured, well-supervised and meaningful work, career exploration and educational growth opportunities. The program enhances awareness of employment, training and educational and career options. Work maturity skills are emphasized by supervisors.
