Rich John Q. Public puts it in the bank, honest Harry the banker steals it, then Mr. and Mrs. or Mr. or Miss John Q. Public from poor America must give it back.

The American people must put an end to this farce that we are calling government. The next thing we know they’ll be asking us to triple it…. I and all Americans ask this one question with all of the state and federal regulations, or if you prefer, bank examiners: How did it get to this point? Of course no one knows. Ask your congressman or senator. He or she doesn’t know but they’re going to do something about it and that’s make it twice as bad as it is.

Why don’t we as constituents ask them to donate their pay raises for the next 100 years toward the national debt and see what their answer would be? Alfred Gardiner Houlton
