Bangor police charged Robert Somers, 31, of 67 Pearl St., with civil posession of marijuana and posession of drug paraphrenalia. He was scheduled to appear in 3rd District Court on Sept. 25.
David Morgan, 27, of Cocoa, Fla., was arrested by Bangor police late Thursday night and charged with domestic assault in connection with an incident on Elm Street. Morgan was taken to Penobscot County Jail and scheduled to appear in 3rd District Court Sept. 25.
Todd Lee, 24, of 116 Fourth St. was charged by Bangor police with criminal mischief and criminal threatening in connection with an incident on Yale Street Thursday.
Wade Phillips, 20, of 186 Ohio St. was charged by Bangor police Friday with operating a motor vehicle without a license and with speeding.
Two Harlow Street businesses were broken into sometime late Thursday or early Friday morning. Bangor police reported that the front doors to the offices were kicked open. A postage meter, valued at $795 was taken from one office while a coin collection, valued at $300, was taken from a locked cabinet from the other.
Two Bangor men, in separate incidents, reported that their cars were stolen early Friday morning while they were sleeping. A Third Street man reported to police that he left his keys on his counter and had fallen asleep for an hour around 4 a.m. When he woke up his keys and car were gone. A man from Blue Hill East reported that he fell asleep for three hours after returning home from work at 2 a.m. and when he awoke his car was missing.
A Moncton, New Brunswick, man told Bangor police that his wallet was stolen while he was trying on shoes late Friday morning in a sporting goods store. The man said he was shopping at Goldsmith’s Sporting Goods on Hogan Road and had placed his wallet down on a seat to try on some shoes. When he returned, his wallet, containing $125 in cash and his license, was gone.
Employees of the Small Steps Montessori School on North Main Street in Brewer reported Friday that sometime Thursday evening someone dismantled the jungle gym in the school yard and dumped out all the sand from the sandbox.
A Sunset Strip man in Brewer reported late Friday afternoon that someone had put sugar in the gas tank of his vehicle while he was on vacation.
