A 19-year-old Bangor man was charged with forgery and theft after he allegedly used another man’s name when he was arrested by Bangor police Monday night.

According to police reports, Chris Beaulieu, of 42 Vernon St., Bangor, was arrested with two other Bangor men and charged with stealing two 12-packs of beer from Irving Mainway on Main Street. Beaulieu did not have any identification with him and told police his name was Jeff Caldwell, 18, of Bangor. He was arrested and bailed using Caldwell’s name, police reported.

On Wednesday, Caldwell and Beaulieu went to the Bangor police station and Beaulieu reportedly admitted to stealing the beer and providing police with a false name.

Charges of theft were dismissed against Caldwell and Beaulieu was charged with theft and forgery.

Randy Thompson, 29, Searsport, was arrested by Hampden police and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor. He was transported to Penobscot County Jail and was scheduled to appear in 3rd District Coury on Oct 19.

Gloria White, 36, 43 first St., Bangor, was arrested by Hampden police and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor. She was taken to Penobscot County Jail and was scheduled to appear in 3rd District Court on Oct. 12.
