ROCKPORT — The annual Maine Adult Education Conference will be held Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 20 and 21, at the Samoset Resort in Rockport, with a pre-conference session Friday, Oct. 19, at Vocational Region 8 in Rockland.
A weekend of speakers, 34 workshops, exhibits and activities will be sponsored by the Maine Association for Public School Adult Education on the theme of “Windows of Opportunity.”
The keynote speaker will be Bill Nave, Maine’s Teacher of the Year and an authority on alternative education programs.
The pre-conference session for program administrators is titled “Taking a New Look at Your Job: A Management Seminar for Leadership in Adult Education.”
