PRESQUE ISLE — The Presque Isle indoor pool is continuing to take registrations for swimming classes. The session began Sept. 4 and lasts until Nov. 11. Some classes have limited space, and others are new classes created to meet demand.
The parent-toddler and infant classes are held from 10 to 10:25 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday and from 10:30 to 10:55 a.m. Saturday. Classes for 3- to 5-year-olds are from 6 to 6:25 p.m. Monday, from 3 to 3:25 p.m. Thursday and from 10:30 to 10:55 a.m. Saturday.
“Learn to Swim” classes for youth are from 6 to 6:50 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 to 11:50 a.m. Saturday. Beginner II classes are from 11 to 11:50 a.m. Saturday and from 6 to 6:50 p.m Tuesday.
Intermediate and swimmer classes are from noon to 12:50 p.m. Saturday and from 3:30 to 4:20 p.m. Wednesday.
Basic rescue class will be offered from 6 to 6:50 p.m. Tuesday. Adult advanced beginner and intermediate classes are held from 9 to 9:50 a.m. Monday and Wednesday. Adult beginner classes are from 1 to 1:50 p.m. Monday.
People interested in a masters swim program may call the indoor pool office. Practices will be from 7:30 to 8:20 p.m. Thursday.
General swimming hours are from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, from 1 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
