Fall programs have been announced at the Bangor-Brewer YWCA, including swimming classes for all ages.
Registration for the program will continue through Saturday, Sept. 8, and classes begin Monday, Sept. 10.
Red Cross swim lessons will be offered for beginner, advanced beginner, intermediate, swimmer, basic water safety, emergency water safety, and lifeguard. There also will be classes for women and a coed adult swim class.
Preschool and youth gym programs will be offered, including a Mom and Me Gym class, gymnastics, preschool sport skills, preschool gymnastics and Rompers.
Youth instructional basketball classes meet Tuesday and Thursday and there will be three gymnastics classes for Level I students and a more advanced class for Level II students.
Children interested in performing arts classes will have beginning movement for 2 1/2- to 3 1/2-year-olds; creative dance for 4- to 5-year-olds and pre-ballet for 5- to 6-year-olds.
Youth jazz dance classes are offered for children 7 to 10 years old and dance performance classes will be offered to children from 9 to 12 years old. Karate classes will be offered to children from five to 13 years old.
Adults will have bridge classes beginning the week of Sept. 17 on Monday mornings. Intermediate classes will meet Wednesday mornings.
Three Quick Quilt workshops will be offered from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, for the Amish Quilt.
