Management Club to meet Sept. 11

The Management Club will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, at the Holiday Inn on Main Street, Bangor, for “Maine’s Current Issues,” presented by Gov. John R. McKernan.

Guests and members are welcome, and the cost is $12 per person, by reservation only. For reservations, call the YMCA by 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, at 941-2815.

The annual membership drive is under way. The club is a sponsor of the Bangor YMCA Camp Prentiss program and last year raised $3,000 to assist with swimming pool repairs at Camp Prentiss.

The club is open to people in all management levels, and strives to help management personnel to more effectively discharge responsibilities as supervisors, leaders and citizens.
