The Brewer Fire Department will present a two-day seminar on recruiting, training and retaining volunteers and on-call personnel Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 13-14, at Brewer High School.

Chief Jack Snook of Washington County Fire District 1, Oregon, will be featured. He has presented his program in southern Maine by invitation of the Maine Fire Chiefs Association in past years.

The program will include live and video presentations. There are openings for the seminar for service and administrative municipal officials.
